New OC for the Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens have made the announcement that they have chosen Gary Kubiak as the new offensive coordinator.

This decision comes as a surprise too many mainly because it was thought that the ravens were going to choose between Kyle Shannahan or Ravens wide receiver coach Jim Hostler.
As per John Harbaugh he met with Kubiak for dinner on Sunday and thats when he thought it would be a good fit.

Gary Kubiak is 52 years old and says there are no concerns about his health, he is looking forward to the opportunity to be part of a proven winner & champion. Previously Kubiak was the head coach of the Houston Texans, where he had the Texans offense ranked in the top 10 in four of the past six years and lead them to the playoffs in 2011 & 2012.

In my opinion this is a great hire for the Ravens organization not only for the sake of scoring points, but for the further development of Joe Flacco, Kubiak has a history of being a great offensive mind and he knows the Quarterback position well especially that he himself was a Quarterback in the nfl from (1983-1991).
